Community Garage Sale and Community Clean Up

It is time for Spring Cleaning!

As the weather turns warmer, Didsburians look forward to cleaning up their yards and homes, and the Town is happy to dedicate a week to helping with that clean up, starting with a Community Garage Sale, followed by a Community Clean-Up Week.

Community Garage Sale
Weekend of June 1, 2024

There is (selling) power in numbers, which is why a dedicated weekend for garage sales throughout the town is such a great idea! Get ready for the ultimate garage sale experience...host your Garage Sale on the weekend of June 1, 2024 and register your address. We will add it to the community-wide-garage-sale-map and help boost your sales like never before!

A reminder that each sale listed on the map sets its own hours/days (some may run on Sunday, June 2 as well, but not necessarily). The Town of Didsbury has no information about individual sales.

Paper copies will also be available starting Wednesday, May 29 at the Town Office and the Didsbury Memorial Complex, and they will be placed on the back of sandwich board signs throughout town on the June 1 weekend.

Community Clean-Up Week

Landfill Days
June 3 to June 8, 2024

Purchase your tickets (ticket sales are now closed) for Landfill Days to allow you to take your unwanted household items to the Didsbury landfill for a flat rate of $10 per load For information about the landfill, operated by the Mountain View Waste Commission, visit their website HERE

Appliance Day
Tuesday, June 4, 2024

If you have appliances that no longer work for you, you can purchase an appliance ticket (one per appliance) (ticket sales are now closed) and then set your old appliance out on your curb on June 4 for the Town's crews to pick up for you.

Appliance tickets are $10 per appliance

*Note: Ticket sales are now finished. If you purchased a ticket for Landfill Days or Appliance Day, please remember that landfill days run from June 3 to 8, and appliance day is June 4, 2024.
