The Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) is a Council-appointed Board with its members consisting of two Councillors and five members of the public.  The Town of Didsbury's Development Officers also attends the meetings.


This commission meets twice monthly to consider development applications in regards to the Land Use Bylaw
 
Development Permits Issued
New Development Permit applications will be posted here following the Municipal Planning Commission meetings. Applications approved by the Development Authority will also be available here for viewing.
 


Meetings are currently held at 4:30 on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, or as necessary to fulfill the MPC’s duties. Applications presented at the meetings are either approved, with or without conditions or refused. Authority to make decisions is granted by the Municipal Planning Commission Bylaw and the Land Use Bylaw.
