DIDSBURY LIBRARY MAKERSPACE
Didsbury Library Makerspace is a community oriented space where people can come to create, learn, socialize, and work on projects. This program runs Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, is open to ALL ages, and is free of charge.

BOARD GAME MANIA
Is your child bored after school with nothing to do? Drop them off at Didsbury Neighborhood Place every Wednesday, starting April 2, 3014 until June 25, 2014 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm (April 23, May 21 and May 28 excluded) for an hour of game board fun plus a snack! Ages 6 - 12, $3.00 drop in.
This program will instruct children on the basics of kitchen safety while making and enjoying delicious recipes! Ages 6-12. April 23, 2014 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. $40.00/child.
YOUNG CHEFS II

SPRING INTO SUMMER
Come get ready for summer with Jolene and Stef at Didsbury Neighbourhood Place by making a teacup bird feeder and having a healthy morning snack! For ages 6-12. Friday, May 2, 2014 from 9:00 - 11:00 am. $10.00/child.
MUM'S THE WORD
come make a special Mother's Day present for your mom with Stef and Jolene. Ages 6-12 welcome! Firday, May 2 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm $10.00/person.
HOME ALONE - EASY AS 1, 2, 3!
Prepare and educate your child about the responsibilities of staying home alone with the Home Alone Course. This course will be held on May 27, 28 and 29 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm on the 27 & 28, and 3:30 - 5:30 pm on the 29. Any child age 10+ are welcome to attend. If they have a sibling ages 8-9, they can attend alongside their older sibling. Cost is $40.00 for the first child and $30.00 for the second child.
Is your child 11 years of age or older and ready to start babysitting? Become a certified babysitter with the Red Cross Babysitting Course. This course will be held on May 21 and 22, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm both days. Cost is $55.00. A lunch and doll will be needed.
MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID COURSE
- Mental Health First Aid Canada is a program of the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
- In Canada, one person in three will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime.
- One in five will experience some problem with their mental health in the course of a year.
- Half of all mental disorders begin by age 14 and 75% begin by age 24. Join over 35,000 mental health first aiders across Canada ang get involved.
June 5 and 6, 2014 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Cost is $50.00/person and includes a manual.
STANDARD FIRST AID RECERTIFICATION COURSE
Is your First Aid certificate about to expire? take the one-day Red Cross Recertification Course on June 6, 2014, from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Cost is $95.00 + GST. Be sure to bring proof of current First Aid certificate, expiry cannot pass the date of recertification.

MOUNTAIN VIEW PARENT LINK CENTRE
Parent Link is free and open to all parents to drop in and play with their children (Ages 0 – 6 years). Find great toys, parenting books, resources and support for parents. Also includes parenting classes. Parenting is a life-long learning experience. Our goal is to help parents foster optimal development for all their children including children with disabilities.
