DIDSBURY CURLING CLUB
Known as the Agri-Sportsplex in the summer and the Curling Rink in the winter months, this facility includes a 4-sheet curling rink ice surface, complete with lounge and kitchen facilities, Hogline Room, and mezzanine. It provides a source of entertainment for all levels of players and is an integral part of winter recreation in Didsbury. League play, as well as bonspiels, provide residents with a good opportunity to have fun and meet new people. ** The winner of the Didsbury Curling Club Beef Raffle was Ben Misener. The 1/2 Beef was very generously donated by Bert Pringle and the processing will be done at River Rock. Thank You to everyone that participated in the raffle. Ken Hurlbut from Airdrie won the 50 inch Flat screen TV. After winning, Ken donated the TV back to the Didsbury Curling Club. Thank You so much Ken for the wonderful gift.**
The Didsbury Curling Club's Annual General Meeting will be on Thursday, April 11 at 7:00 pm in the Didsbury Curling Club Lounge.

Stick Curling is a new variation of the beloved game and is gaining huge popularity across the country, including Didsbury. Stick Curling provides challenge and excitement for everyone on an equal and competitive basis, and in a social atmosphere. Stick Curling is appropriate for people with or without physical disabilities. The rocks are handled with a curling stick from a standing or sitting position (i.e. wheelchairs) enabling everyone to participate competitively.
The Curling Rink is available for rent from April to September. It seats 150 people and is great for banquets, meetings and weddings. For more information on renting this facility, call 403.335.7369.
