Garbage, Compost and Recycling Pick-up
The Town of Didsbury has bi-weekly garbage and compost pick-up on alternate weeks and recycling blue bins will be picked up every week. Depending upon where you live it is either on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. To determine when your pick up day is, please check the map below. Every home is assigned a black garbage bin, green compost bin and a blue recycling bin. These bins stay with the home. To find out your garbage day, please contact the Town Office at 403.335.3391. Waste containers are to be placed at the curb by 7:00am of the respective morning.
The Town's Rollout Cart Collection Policy establishes guidelines and procedures for the collection of residential solid waste and organic materials. Please review the policy to ensure you take proper care in disposing of your household items.
Recycling, Compost and Garbage Information
The Didsbury Recycling Depot is now CLOSED. Residents who still require a drop off for recycling in addition to their curbside recycling, the Didsbury Landfill can be utilized FREE of charge for recyclables. Residents can also take any excess compost they have to the Didsbury Landfill.

Landfill Transfer Site
Mountain View Regional Waste Commission runs the Landfill and Transfer Site in Didsbury. Hours of operation are 9:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Saturday. Please note that this is a user pay site. For directions or more information, please call 403.335.2005.
